This poor 4 month old is stuck in a 12 month old's body. Milk alone just isn't doing it anymore. A body like this takes a lot of work. So after several cereal meals, we gave him his first taste of people food tonight. Green beans. No salt, no bacon pieces. Just plain green beans. Judging by his faces it was only slightly better than amniotic fluid and not nearly as good as rice cereal. We had to go with the black and white pictures because he'd get beat up for the color of his bib (not easy being the younger sibling of a girl).
As my niece Jordan says, "he's doing the big eye thing again!" He just cracks me up. I'm laughing right now as I'm writing this. He reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield when he opens his eyes this wide.
And what kind of meal would it be if you didn't need a bath afterwards?
Not sure why I'm so excited and he's not. I think it must've been in between smiles or something.
