two in one day?!

My niece asked me if I had taken any pictures of her prom preparations, because I had forgotten to get them to her. I feel badly, because prom was so 5 minutes ago. But that's ok. I just wanted to share a few, because I think she is beautiful. And I kept begging her to take that hemp ankle bracelet off, but she wouldn't. It was funny that she insisted on wearing it with her nice dress and sparkly shoes, so I of course took a picture of it too.

my apologies

I've been scolded by several people for letting my blog go for so long with no updates. I'm so sorry; I've been very busy, and that's been a good thing, but I don't like it that I've neglected taking pictures of my own kids. So, here are a few. We spent another weekend at my parents' getaway, and I spent a lot of time taking them for 4-wheeler rides down to the tree swings. They really have a good time swinging together. This picture doesn't show you how high this swing goes with the two of them in it, or how they both giggle when they start the free fall. Oh, and I can assure you that Graham was well secured!



That was really the only picture I wanted to post, but I would feel bad if I just apologized for not updating in so long and then left just one measly picture. So here are two more for good measure.

in between bites of sand...

Each time I took my camera outside on vacation, I had to wait 15 minutes for it to defog. It was about 65 degrees inside our house and about...oh...120 degrees outside (judging by the amount of frizz in my hair and in Evie's). I took this one with a foggy lens. I salvaged it as well as I could. Fog or no fog, there is no denying that these are beach bodies. Graham in the foreground with a belly full of food no doubt, and Evie in the background with her knock-knee chubby legs and a slight wedgie :)
