This morning I was putting clothes away when Graham went into our bathroom. Evie followed him, and then shut the door. There's not a whole lot in there that they can get in trouble with...we have everything we'd consider dangerous in a medicine cabinet that they can't reach. So I was letting them play in there with the door shut while I was in the bedroom. After a little while I heard Graham make an uncomfortable noise, so I went into check on them. Evie had unwound a good 10 feet of dental floss and had it wrapped around HIS NECK!! I was mortified. Luckily it wasn't tight, and he is still here with us. As I was unwinding it and trying to convey the seriousness of the situation to Evie, I found myself looking the other way and trying to keep from laughing. I know she was just having some fun, but geesh!
Later today we went grocery shopping, which has become increasingly harder these past few times by the way. On our way home, Graham fell asleep, and when I went to get Evie out, I found this. They frequently hold hands in the car, and I think this is a very sweet something. He fell asleep holding her hand. When I went and opened her door, she told me she didn't want to get out; she just wanted to hold his hand a little longer. So I ran to get the camera; I figure they will never believe this ever happened when they are 16 and 18. So there you have it, one moment she's trying to cut off his air supply and the next she is holding his hand while he sleeps.
